Description Byredo Oud Immortel
Ben Gorham, perfumer and head of the Swedish house Byredo, likes to look for motives for creating new perfumes in the natural world. This time, to create the fragrance Byredo Oud Immortel, he found inspiration in an oud tree, also known as the “tree agar”. According to the perfumer, the Arabian Ud is full of symbolism, as if it pushes to think about the lost mystical traditions of the East.
His desire to unravel the ancient mysteries of life is transmitted to us through a unique composition of this perfumed water. Apparently, the journey to the long past epoch brought the motifs of Cypriot spirits, which are now called chypre, to this perfume. In fact, the original chypre perfumes included the aromas of oak moss, patchouli leaves, olybanum incense, and bergamot sandalwood. Therefore, we should expect similar in the eau de parfum Byredo Oud Immortel.
Perfume will find special respect among people who are passionate about mysticism and philosophy. Men and women, who can be called thinkers with a special depth of soul, will appreciate this fragrant work of Swedes.
